Yellow Pine, Original Flooring with Untouched Face
Yellow pine original flooring is very similar to white pine, but has more notable sap rings and often has a reddish, rather than an amber hue. These are also ORIGINAL footworn log cabin floors carefully pulled from the attics and upstairs of 1700-1800’s structures.
The wear and patina of an original floor cannot be duplicated! This floor is offered “unmilled” (just as it came out of the house) or remilled (kiln dried with a new tongue and groove, planed on the bottom to ¾” and run to 3 widths). Whether milled or unmilled, this face is left untouched to allow you to choose how deep into the boards you want it sanded.
