About Us

Our Story

Keystone Reclaimed Lumber has grown from humble beginnings in 1997 into a full-scale reclaimed materials and custom woodworking company located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. What started as a small custom furniture workshop in a garage has evolved into a destination for builders, designers, and homeowners. We are now equipped with a dedicated storefront showroom, a commercial-scale lumberyard, and a team capable of handling projects ranging from bespoke residential pieces to multi-unit commercial builds.

Our roots are in traditional craftsmanship. Inspired by early American building methods and the character of antique wood, we developed a deep respect for materials with history. What began as an appreciation for old-world carpentry and sustainability became a larger mission, preserving architectural heritage and repurposing it with integrity and intention.

As demand grew, so did our scope. Today, we don’t just salvage reclaimed lumber, we also dismantle full structures, carefully cataloging and preparing them for reassembly on new sites. Our operation now spans every part of the process, from material recovery to in-house fabrication, allowing us to work at a scale that meets the needs of both residential clients and commercial partners.

We’ve unified our operations under one roof to ensure quality, consistency, and efficiency. Every beam, board, and element is thoughtfully handled by our team, ensuring that what we deliver reflects the highest standards of craftsmanship and care.

We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service. Stop by to see us and take home a piece of history!

Environmental Stewardship

At Keystone Reclaimed Lumber, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Our work begins with what already exists; lumber that has stood the test of time. We do not draw on natural resources to create something new. Instead, we uncover the beauty that is already there, breathing new life into materials with a history worth preserving.

By transforming reclaimed wood into flooring, siding, beams, kitchens, and furniture, we help reduce the demand for newly harvested materials. This approach minimizes our environmental footprint and allows our customers to invest in projects that carry a story, not a cost to the planet. Many of our clients choose Keystone because they value the peace of mind that comes from knowing their materials are part of a responsible and low impact cycle.

For larger builds, incorporating reclaimed materials can be an important step toward meeting sustainability goals. Projects that feature reclaimed wood often align with the spirit of green building standards, helping builders and homeowners take pride in projects that are as environmentally conscious as they are beautiful.

At Keystone, we believe that by choosing reclaimed lumber, you are helping write its next chapter without leaving unnecessary marks on the planet.

A Better Product with a Richer Story

Beyond its environmental benefits, reclaimed wood often delivers a superior product compared to much of the newly harvested lumber on the market today. Modern forestry and milling practices are built for speed. Trees are grown quickly and harvested young, resulting in wood that is less dense, less stable, and less durable than the lumber produced in the past.

Generations ago, trees often matured for well over a century before being harvested. The slow growth produced tighter grain, greater strength, and a level of durability that is rarely matched today. The procurement process of that era was also more deliberate and precise, resulting in higher quality lumber from the very beginning.

Reclaimed wood combines this original quality with the benefit of time. It has already endured decades of use, weather, and wear. This natural aging process makes it even more stable and resilient, creating a product that is not only environmentally responsible but also exceptional in strength, beauty, and longevity.
