Unmilled Original Flooring

This sample shows what original floor boards look like if you choose to take them as-is and do the work of milling yourself. The left side is sanded with no finish. The right side is without sanding. Keep in mind, these boards will have many unusable tongues and grooves. Most people who buy this material “in the raw”, rip the t&g off and butt joint the boards. It is less expensive than a milled floor, but takes more labor and has a higher waste factor.
